Inspiring California, one garden at a time

What's a Garden Ambassador?

Have you ever wanted to see what a successful California native plant garden looks like? Or, maybe you have a lot of questions about how to start or maintain a native garden. CNPS Garden Ambassadors are here to help!

Our ambassadors are CNPS members in your community who can answer questions, give presentations, share photos and tours of their gardens, and more. So get to know them — either virtually or at an upcoming event near you. CNPS Garden Ambassadors are here to show you what’s possible and help make your native garden dreams a reality.

I love sharing the habitat value of plants, and the role humans can have in regaining lost homes for animals – especially with children and families. It is a profoundly healing act to see plants one has put in the ground provide sustenance to living creatures.
– Chris Nutter, CNPS Garden Ambassador
