Malacothamnus gracilis Seed Collection & Treasure Hunt
Where: Lopez Lake Recreation Area, Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo County When: Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18th Trip Leaders: Keir Morse & Amy Patten Join us at Lopez Lake Recreation Area to collect seed and survey for Malacothamnus gracilis (slender bush-mallow). Lopez Lake has the largest known population of M. gracilis, which we will be collecting seeds from for conservation seed banking at the Ranch Santa Ana Botanic Garden seed bank.
