The 9th Annual Gardens Gone Native Tour

The 2019 Gardens Gone Native is a free, self-guided tour featuring home gardens in and around Sacramento and Yolo counties. Gardens are comprised of at least 50% California Native plants. Going Native Garden Tour 2019

Since 2003, the Bay Area's pioneering native garden tour has showcased gardens featuring California native plants. This community-based tour is free of charge to the public. Each tour features up to 60 gardens, most of them private home gardens, which are open on tour day in a do-it-yourself, open house format. Sonoma-Marin Eco-Friendly Garden Tour and Plant Sale

For the county’s spring Garden Tour, the Marin Chapter will be hosts at the new Native Plant Pollinator Garden they designed and planted in front of the Bay Model Visitor Center. The garden is over 100 feet long, and is planted with different wildlife habitats for songbirds, hummingbirds, and butterflies plus a monarch butterfly way station. Native bees use all of it. Fifteenth Annual Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour and Events

This award-winning tour features thirty seven beautiful Alameda and Contra Costa county gardens that are pesticide-free, water conserving, provide habitat for wildlife, and contain 60% or more native plants.  On the day of the Tour art will be available for sale at a dozen gardens and live music will be performed at seven.  Children’s activities will be offered at two.
