Sonoma-Marin Eco-Friendly Garden Tour and Plant Sale

For the county’s spring Garden Tour, the Marin Chapter will be hosts at the new Native Plant Pollinator Garden they designed and planted in front of the Bay Model Visitor Center. The garden is over 100 feet long, and is planted with different wildlife habitats for songbirds, hummingbirds, and butterflies plus a monarch butterfly way station. Native bees use all of it. Tour CNPS Garden Ambassador Linda Richards successful, residential native plant garden in Redlands.  Linda Richards has been planting with California native plants since 2002 and her Redlands home features a former lawn that is now a successful 10 year old native garden, as well as mature natives. As a Garden Ambassador with the California Native Plant Society, she welcomes opportunities to share her love and appreciation of California native plants. She also writes a blog www.ifnaturecouldtalk.com that includes info about her favorite plants for the Inland Empire area.
