We’ll see numerous plants are now in bloom including Sambucus nigra ssp. caerulea, Erigeron foliosus, Eriophyllum lanatum, Acmispon americanus var. americanus, Acmispon glaber, Philadelphus lewisii, Monardella villosa, Clarkia unguiculata, Eschscholzia californica, Diplacus aurantiacus, Keckiella breviflora, Chorizanthe membranacea, Delphinium hesperium, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Aesculus californica, and Brodiaea elegans. The walk will head west from the meeting area about 1/3 mile and then weave through rocky area with Mock orange in bloom. We’ll then continue along the path above the river to the Coyote mint, and return along the bike trail to the meeting area with a quick detour to “Chris’ mini-meadow”, Then we’ll continue west along the bike trail to the meeting area.
