Through the Lens: Backyard Biodiversity

October 29 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on a wildlife journey of surreal beauty and epic encounters without leaving the confines of one backyard in Los Angeles. This 1-acre odyssey is told through the wondrous images of acclaimed photographer and naturalist, Scott Logan, in his new book The Gottlieb Native Garden: An Intimate Wildlife Journey. Scott has spent the last five years documenting fauna in The Gottlieb Native Garden, an incredible home demonstration garden that is a living testament to the transformative power of habitat gardening. Remarkably, over 400 species of animals have been recorded in this residential landscape in the heart of urbanized Southern California. Tune in as we discuss this unfolding story with Scott and Susan Gottlieb, founder of The Gottlieb Native Garden, and witness the incredible biodiversity that has been observed in a native plant garden.
