Speaker Series: Saving Sonoma County Endangered Plant Species

CNPS and the Laguna Foundation are working on saving several species that are on the brink of extinction. The panel will tell stories of 2 species being saved.

They will talk about Vine Hill manzanita (Arctostaphylos densiflora) and Pitkin Lily (Lilium pardalinum ssp. pitkinense), efforts to save them, and future plans towards their survival. Panelists include Betty Young, Milo Baker Nursery manager, Ayla Mills Laguna Foundation Nursery manager, and Asa Voigt Laguna Foundation Preserve manager.
