San Diego Habitat Gardening with Clayton Tschudy

September 10, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

There are many great and recently published resources for habitat gardening. They often provide good generalized advice for habitat design, but cannot provide a regional approach.  Vibrant habitat design requires a local approach that details indigenous plant and animal species, examines the habitat structure of local plant communities, and addresses how the threats of introduced pests and climate change should be addressed to local resources from the gardener’s perspective.

Join the San Diego chapter at their September meeting. Clayton Tschudy will give an overview of habitat garden design for the San Diego region, focusing on critical design elements, and some new, and unique, online resources.

Doors open at 6 PM with the presentations beginning at 6:45 PM.
Free for SDHS Members; $15 Non-members
Tickets available at the door.
Parking is free in Balboa Park, and available behind the Fleet Science Center or The Nat. MoPA is at 1649 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101 and located across from the Lily Pond in Balboa Park.
