
California Dudleyas – In the Wild, In your Garden, and In Danger

A Special Dudleya evening with Steve McCabe “Zooming” in from Santa Cruz. Steve is known for his work with Dudleya which he has been studying and growing for over 30 years. (He authored the Jepson Manual treatment). He is the Emeritus Director of Research for the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum. Orange County botanist, Ron Vanderhoff will discuss the only Dudleya endemic to Orange County and current issues with this rare species. We will also view an award winning documentary on Dudleya poaching in California.
For those able to attend there will be a limited sale of Dudleya plants at the end of the meeting.
