Virtual: Fifteenth Annual Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour and Events
April 19 - May 10
The 2020 Tour, now a virtual event, can still inspire, educate, and help you transform your own garden!
Use some of that extra time you have at home to plan how you will show your garden some love, bring nature home, and help the environment by incorporating beautiful native plants into your garden.
If we have your e-mail address the garden guide will be e-mailed in late April. (If you are not in the Tour’s database, just e-mail Kathy@KathyKramerConsulting.net and ask to be added to the database.”)
The workshops will be rescheduled. The Tour will take place virtually this year, on the Tour’s Facebook page, where gardens will be featured one at a time, and additional information will be provided.
This award-winning tour features 42 beautiful Alameda and Contra Costa county gardens that are pesticide-free, water conserving, provide habitat for wildlife, and contain 60% or more native plants. On the day of the Tour art will be available for sale at a dozen gardens and live music will be performed at seven. Children’s activities will be offered at two. This self-drive tour showcases a variety of gardens, from large wooded lots in the hills to small parcels in the flats. Native plants will be available for sale, and forty talks will be offered on the week-end of the event. Pre-registration for the Tour is required. $10 to purchase the garden guide; donations requested. This tour will fill; register early to ensure a place. Volunteers are needed.
