Default Mystery Astragalus

I am just compiling the photos for my book on western N.American alpines to be published by Timber Press late next year. I have a slide that I took of an astragalus showing pods only. The photo was taken at Westguard Pass just before driving up to the Bristlecone Pines. The stem is quite upright about 12-15 ins. with the pods hanging downwards at intervals up the stem. The pods are very striking, green with red pimples dotted over them and sort of a red calyx where they meet the stem. They are pointed with a short curly tail. I can post a jpeg image to anyone. </p>
