Default Acorn Naturalists: Oak Woodland Activity Kit

Has anyone used the Oak Woodland and/or Vernal Pool Activity Kits produced by Acorn Naturalists? Do they contain a sufficient amount of material concerning plants to justify a CNPS chapter buying them to give to schools or are they more wildlife oriented?

Hi Cindy, I've only had experience with Acorn Naturalists: Western Creeks and Ponds. I think the Vernal Pools kit is based on eastern vernal pools. I guess that doesn't help much but have you called the company to find out exactly what's in the kit? All the best, Mary
