Default What to do with Dudleya offsets?

I have a very happy dudleya that has shot out little offsets. What do i do with these? I tried cutting one and planting it but it shrivled up and died. I know they become plants but I don't know how specifically to get them to root...

Probably the best way to keep the offset going is to NOT cut them off the parent plant. Rather set a pot under them and tie them onto the soil so they will root into it and once they look like they are growing good then cut the cord!!
