SanDieganupNorth is on a distinguished road
Default Transplanting Island Bush Poppy (Dendromecon harfordii)

Looking for any advice/tips on maximizing the potential success of moving this native in my yard. It is doing ok but not thriving in its current location, but more importantly I want to better utilize the space where it is (away from the house) for some fruit trees that I don't want up against the house, where I will be moving the bush.

I've learned it can be a finicky plant and want to do everything possible to not lose it.

Thanks in advance!
