Default Native Aquatic Moss Wanted

I have a koi pond in my backyard and would like to grow moss on a cast concrete Chinese latern that I've converted into a fountain. The idea was to have water bubbling up, then cascading off the top and finally running back into the pond. During the winter there is moss all over my back yard. I've harvested some, and done the blender and yogurt several times with poor results. I've checked with the manufacturer of the lantern and they do not add anything to their concrete to retard the growth of moss, mold, or mildew.

It has been suggested that the landern is too wet to support a terrestrial moss and that an aquatic moss would do well. I have found at least a dozen species available for sale on line but they seem to come from southeast Asia. As this is an outdoor pond I don't want to risk introducing an exotic species into the environment. That said, does anyone know of a native or already introducted aquatic moss? Thanks
