From: Sarah smaiss@jps.net
Date: 02/18/02 Time: 12:17 PM I will be working on a riparian restoration project in Sacramento County and am trying to get ahold of some information regarding planting criteria for Sambucus mexicana, blue elderberry. I am also interested in finding examples of planting successes for S. mexicana in other restoration projects. Any information, references, or contacts would be greatly appreciated. |

Date: 03/04/02 Time: 09:33 PM Please check with Bitterroot Restoration. They have a web site and local office in Lincoln (I think). They did extensive work for Yosemite National Park after the 97 Flood. They had excellent success with S. mexicana. Drop me a note and I can put you in touch with some other folks as well. Ben |
