Default Bear Valley, Colusa County 2004

Was there on April 9, 2004. Hills of goldfields at the southern end of the valley were at peak flower, as were fields of tidy tips at the north end. However, it's a disappointing year for owls-clover and lupine, which make those fields west of the big bridge so colorful in good years. The north and south ends of the valley make the trip worthwhile, though. Just go soon!
