Default Tree Replacement List Input

I am a new planner for Santa Cruz County. I have taken on the task of updating our Tree Replacement List, which is given to applicants who have removed mature trees within the coastal zone. The list contains many non-natives, but as a non-botanist I don`t know which trees may be invasive or otherwise inappropriate as replacement species in an urban coastal setting. I wonder if anyone would be willing to review the list 30 species and give me their opinion. My budget for this project is$0.00 Thanks!

Robin - You can get contact info for the Santa Cruz Chapter of CNPS on the main CNPS website. You should send your request to that chapter - they may already have a tree list. Anyway, those folks are your best bet for information. Lori Hubbart
