Calystegia peirsonii: Found only in Los Angeles County as follows: Sierra Pelona, hills ca. 4 miles W of Palmdale. It is mainly found in Shadscale Scrub, Chaparral, Foothill Woodland, Coastal Sage Scrub, Yellow Pine Forest. Endemic to the Antelope Valley and the Northern San Gabriel Mountains. Willing to pay reasonable costs for person to go an provide a source so I can conserve this species
|

You might try the Theodore Payne foundation in the Sunland area - they have a seed bank that contains some pretty obscure species. Ed Petersen who is probably about 97 now used to go all over the county collecting seed. Hopefully they have something. Even if it is old, I seem to remember that Calystegia has a pretty good shelf life. They have a website you can contact them thru. Hope this helps.
|
