Whatever Happened to Kevin Connelly?

I posted this question a while back, and the general consensus seems to be that he unfortunately checked out in a cave somewhere in the Desert. If anybody has heard anything more recently, please let me know. He was a great influence on me early in my career, and it is so sad to think this incredibly sensitive, talented individual may not be with us any longer. For those who don't know, Kevin was a beautiful writer on natives and wildflowers and was heavily involved at Theodore Payne and its wildflower hill for many years. He also ran the Earthside center in Pasadena.
