Default rescuing plants on construction sites

is there an organization or some existing framework by which people can rescue native plants from sites that are going to bulldozed and built on?

Default Nothing I know of currently...

The construction crews come in and just demolish. That is going to boil down to the clients. If they request the plants be saved then they would need to be dug up prior and then your talking about money. Some green companies recommend it but for the most part the plants are trashed. Just an experienced contractor trying to help.

Although I think you have a good thought here. It wouldn't be a bad idea moving forward to spread the word. If the plants have significant value or produce fruits I am sure they are saved.

It all starts & ends with what the clients want.
