Default Oleander Health

I live in San Antonio, TX. My oleanders' leaves apparently froze during a couple of cold nights. The leaves are dry and 'droopy.' What can I do to save my trees?

Thank you.

Default Re: Oleander Health

Awilda,Helloooooo Texas! I have found it successful to prune them back moderately hard, when I know danger of another freeze is unlikely. Such pruning removes dead, ugly leaf material and stimulates new growth. If you did nothing the plants would most likely survive anyway.

I don't live in Texas so take my advice with a small grain of salt and ask some local experts and nursery people what they think just to be on the safe side.
