Default Flowers Very Good at Regional Parks Botanic Garden

Although it is a below average year for wildflowers in the wild, the flowers at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Tilden Park in Berkeley, CA are very good at present. The California native plants botanic garden has many flowers are in bloom throughout the garden including California Poppies, Ceanothus, Lupines, and the rare Pt. Reyes Meadowfoam. It was great weather to be in the garden and look at flowers but less so for flower photography as it was breezy and the sun was bright. If you go make sure to check out the raised bulb beds as they include excellent specimens of several Calochortus, Alliums and Lewisia rediviva. I even found a few California Peony still in bloom.
