Default Volunteer Opportunity at Carrizo Plain National Monument

Knowledgeable volunteers are sought to assist with the surveying of plants on experimental restoration plots at Carrizo Plain National Monument. This research is part of a larger Carrizo Plain Ecosystem Project led by scientists in the Dept. of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley. Exact dates have not yet been determined, but work will likely take place on several weekends between now and the end of March. Reimbursement for travel expenses may be possible, and accommodations at a BLM facility will likely be available.

If interested, please contact me at cgurney@berkeley.edu with a short description of your experience/skills and your availability.
