Gregg is on a distinguished road
Default a few wildflowers across the border

...my wife and I were over in Nevada early in the week; we found a few wildflowers along the northern route through Lake Mead Nat. Rec. Area: Sunrays showed a few open blooms with many, many more to come; Bearpaw Poppies had lots of buds; Astragalus preussii var. laxiflorus in bloom here and there; patches of phacelia (Death Valley Phacelia?) and evening primrose species and desert sunflowers; patches of Fremont's Phacelia in the Valley of Fire State Park; lots of Arizona lupine along the 10 mile stretch of I-40 we were on...

...and isn't Las Vegas and Lake Mead just eastern California?

Gregg,
restless for wildflowers
