I am interested in collecting seed of Lupinus caudatus, alpestris and brewerii in Mono County. Does anyone have knowledge of good locations?

Hi!

I assume that you are familiar with appropriate seed collecting techniques and will not harm individual populations through over collection.

That said, try obtaining locality information from the CalFlora database at http://www.calflora.org. Their database contains the collection records from most herbaria and locality data from many monitoring projects.

Cheers, Carol
