Default Mariposa Soil

Hi,I'm purchasing a 58 acre parcel of land near Mariposain the Sierra Foothills. Currently, Pines, Oaks, and Manzanita are in abundance. I'd like to gardenand maybe grow some crops in the meadows. Are ther any soil maps available for the area? Can anyone suggest what would be appropriate to grow from the Native Plant Society point of view? I'velived in cities most of my life. This is a new andvery exciting change for me. I could certainly usesome help finding information.Thanks,iggy</p>
