Default Desert Hot Springs Area

Hi folks. I found a nice variety of wildflowers - though not great numbers except for the Desert dandelions and Pinchusion flowers - today (3/19 ... the last day of winter) along North Indian Cyn Dr., between Mission Lakes Blvd. and Twentynine Palms Hwy, and in Mission Creek Preserve, which is off of Twentynine Palms Hwy north of Pierson Blvd. I found some gorgeous desert blue bells, two poppy species, phacelias, gilia sp., fiddleneck, Wallace's woolly daisies, bladderpod, a couple primrose sp.s, Whispering bells (I think that's what they're called), different cryptanthas, of course lots of brittlebush, creosote bushes...

Flowers seem more abundant further up Twentynine Palms Hwy, from Morongo Valley to Yucca Valley, but I didn't investigate...
