Early Season Wildflowers
 
If you are feeling inpatient for Spring Wildflowers you might check out the Botanic Gardens in Berkeley where early flowers are in bloom.

Today at Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Tilden Park in Berkeley I found Ceanothus, Silk Tassels, Manzanitas, Wallflowers, Fuchsia-flowered Gooseberry, and Shooting Stars in bloom. To see photos go to: http://naturalhistorywanderings.com/...ing-in-tilden/

Last week in the California Natives section at the UC-Berkeley Botanical Garden the following species were in bloom Wild Currant, California Poppies, Ceanothus, Manzanita, Silk Tassel, and Pipevine. to see photos go to:
