Desert Research Workshop 1/27/11
The California Energy Commission is hosting a public workshop on desert research projects funded by the Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program.
Principal investigators will provide an overview of six research projects addressing solar energy-related biological impacts in the California desert. Topics include cumulative impacts, desert tortoise, Mohave ground squirrel, and rare plants. The workshop will be held at the Energy Commission (Hearing Room B) in Sacramento on January 27, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 and broadcast via WebEx for remote attendees.
