The City of Manteca Parks Dept will be creating a native plant center adjacent to the Outdoor Education Center this fall and spring. we are looking for suggestions, volunteer help, suitable plant material, and possibly grant funding. Manteca is locate in the Calif central valley between Modesto and Stockton, approx 80 miles East of San Fransico. Hiways 99, I-5, 120 and 205 surround the city. </p>

Sorry about that, I hit the wrong button. I am definitely interested in helping you out. You can probably get some information from the Tuolumne Rancheria, they have a native plant nursery. You can also try Bitterroot Restoration, Dave McAdoo davem@bitterrootrestoration.com, they have a nursery in Lincoln, CA that is fairly new.
