Does anyone know a source for C. prostratus? I would like to try establishing a bank of it here in Marin county

You will have difficulty finding this plant since it is difficult to grow, especially at low elevations. Have you considered using another low grower like C. hearstiorum or C. thyrsiflorus var repens? They do well in coastal areas and are often available.

I've been growing my prostratus successfully down in San Diego for several years. They love water and light shade down here. I purchased them at a great little native nursery in Florence, Oregon called Woodman's, I think. Their plants have done really great for me. A bit of a drive, but they have yummy native jams too. A real treat!
