Hi,

I don't know if anyone sent you info, but I have in front of me a handout I got from the San Diego chapter of CNPS. It lists several landscape contractors:

Coastal Sage Gardening, John Noble, San Diego, 223-5229Ocean Sage Landscaping, Dave Buchanan, Encinitas, 942-9254California's Own Native Landscape Design, Greg Rubin, Escondido, 760-746-6870Lost West, Robert Mekjian, Carlsbad and LA, 760-434-5790.

The list is a couple years old but it's something. The only one I have passing familiarity with is Greg Rubin. I have heard him give a couple talks at Del Mar Fair and a CNPS meeting. I haven't seen his work but his enthusiasm is infectious. The list also has a number of 'planning and design professionals', whatever that is. If you want more info, I could FAX the list to you or maybe CNPS has some available.

Good luck,

Rick</p>
