I'm attempting to resume my lily breeding inspite of losing everything when I filed for divorce (I mean EVERYTHING-whoever has the most money wins!). I had been crossing L. kelloggi with martagons and other specie like hybrids. We had on the property L. rubescens-I had flats of seedlings when everything blew up. The goal is to find a more persistant garden lily that is drought tolerant. Does the CNPS deal with mushrooms at all?

Have you looked at Checker Lily/Mission Bells [Fritillaria]? It's not a showy red but charming in it's own subtle way.
