View Full Version : Public Native Gardens/Street Trees

The City of Los Angeles is considering an ordinance that will require the use of natives and drought-tolerant plants. Does anyone know of any public facilities that are landscaped with natives? Streets lined with native trees are also important. I`d like to photograph those sites and submit them as testimony to the City Council. I currently have information on the Los Angeles Zoo, Scripps Aquarium, Washington Park in Pasadena, Azusa City Hall, Lummis Home, and REI in Arcadia. I`d appreciate any suggestions on other sites in southern or central California.

You might check this site, http://www.theodorepayne.org/index.html and talk to the people there.
