My husband and I have recently had a rather large 1/4 acre pond put in on our property in the Sierra foothills 2,800 feet elevation. The pond is fed by two springs. We've purposely left one end shallow to encourage water plants. Other than cattails, water cress, and duck weed which are there, what can we plant? Where can we find the plants?

Thanks.

Rosalie - drop me a note and give me some more detail on where you live. you can get willows and sedges fairly easily at this time of year. It all depends on where you are and what you want out of it. Ben
