You could look into Las Pilitas native plants, they have an office in Escondido not super close, but they may have other contacts in the area There website is : http://www.laspilitas.com/ There website has been very useful to me.

Try Greg Rubin, 'California's Own Native Landscape Design'. 760-746-6870. He also works with the Las Pilitas nursery in Escondido.

Hi Scott,

Visit the following website for a list of some of the people that use native plants in landscaping as their business. The list includes both designers and installers in the San Diego area:

Hi Scott,

When I tried to follow the link I previously posted it wouldn't work for me so the long approach for a list of some Gardners and Landscape Contractors in San Diego is to go to the San Diego Canyon Coalition website http://members.dencity.com/canyoncoalition/index. Go into Neighborhood Canyon Groups and choose Friends of Switzer Canyon. Scroll to Habitat Restoration then California Native Plant Society- Information Bulletins. Click on Sources and scroll towards the bottom. There is a list with names with telephone numbers and contract license numbers. Some do design only, some do design and installation. I hope one of them works for you. I have seen pictures of gardens put together by many of the names listed and they are nice. Some inspire a sense of peace for me.Cindy
