Does anyone know some good sources for information on the habitat values of californiaSan Francisco Bay areanative plants? I'm interested in knowing about specific wildlife interactions between plants and animals, insects, etc. Thanks, Amanda</p>

There are many interesting horticultural Research Reports online at theWeb site for the Elvenia J. Slosson Endowment Fund:http://slosson.ucdavis.edu/

This information is by way of Jeff Caldwell, who is involved with a group called the Garden Habitat Network. I think they have a website, but I couldn't find it in my files just now. Sounds like the kind of organization you are looking for.

CNPS needs to do more work on compiling info about plant/animal relationships. Many chapters have some of this info for their local regions, but it needs to be consolidated! Good luck.
