I know one: Satureja douglasii Yerba Buena. The Native Californians used to make tea out of the leaves which had healing properties. Has a terrific flavor.</p>

Why not Miner's Lettuce? I don't know the botancial name but it's season is spring. Oak nuts are edible too, if treated and rinsed and their season is fall. Quercus agrifola, I think.</p>
