I am on the board of the homeowners' association for the condominium complex where I live near downtown San Jose, and we need to have some new landscaping done. I would like to find a local company that specializes in landscaping using native plants and would be able to give us a wide range of possibilities to consider. Being new to CNPS, I would also like to know if native landscaping efforts are usually strictly 100% native, or if non-native plants are usually included, and, if so, to what degree, and what non-natives are acceptable for inclusion. Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.</p>

Try Middlebrook Gardens. They are local, and very knowledgeable about California natives.
