I'm travelling to San Diego this week--anyone know of any good native plant sources? I'm particulary in search of Salvia Apiana for mass planting. Thanks. Laura </p>

Your two main options are Tree of Life nursery in San Juan Capistrano actually Orange Co. and Las Pilitas nursery near Escondido. Both are good, but Tree of Life will only be open for retail on Fridays. I suggest checking out their websites treeoflifenursery.com and laspilitas.com for directions and other info. You can call each of them to see if they have S. apiana.

Good luck,
