I have a small retaining wall at the end of my yard with a dangerous 8 foot drop on the other side of the wall. I want to prevent my kids from climbing on this wall. Instead of boxing the yard in with a 4ft. fence on top of the retaining wall the view over the wall is quite attractive--are there any plants you suggest that could instead make a natural barrier. Catus is of course too sharp but I have seen some pointed agave looking plants that may keep the kids away from the end of the lot. I need to create a strong barrier that goes 50 feet across and not much more than 3 feet in depth. I want to leave lots of room for grass. All ideas welcome. Maybe just some bushy natives would work?</p>
