Howdy folks...
...well, wildflowers are poppin' up in a few spotty locartions around Death Valley, and up in Marin Co./Mt. Tam. I'll be chasin' wildflowers around the state a couple times a month, and I hope there are some folks out there who will post here when they have blooms in their neighborhood.
I live down in Pioneertown, above Yucca Valley; it doesn't look like we're gonna have much here...
I have a life list of more than 1,300 species, ssp., and var.s; I hope to add to it this year ... might even fly outta state for wildflowers in the prairies, Rockies, Cascades, Texas, New Mexico. It's not somethin' we can really afford, but what the hell, it's wildflowers!!!!
