- The Clark Conservation Endowment Fund (conservation, land stewardship, conservation science, and plant science)
- The Natural Heritage Endowment Fund (all CNPS operations, programmatic and administrative).
- The Horticulture Endowment Fund (horticulture using native plants, including education and promotion).
The Board of Directors of CNPS prefers to establish a new endowment fund only if the donation exceed $100,000. Proposals to establish separate endowments with donations under $100,000 will be considered on a case by case basis.
