2012 Conference Goals

• Increase understanding of plant diversity and ecosystems
• Raise awareness of critical conservation issues
• Present opportunities to participate, take action, and learn skills
• Enhance our understanding of pre-European landscapes
• Increase student attendance to greater than 20% of total attendance
• Increase diversity of presenters, programming, attendees, and outcomes
• Create programming for the general public
• Provide venue for more submitted abstracts
• Promote connections and networking
