Shasta Chapter promotes appreciation for California native plants. Our area has diverse and unique plants in 17 microclimates within half an hour’s drive from Redding. Destinations include Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, Trinity Alps, Cascade and Sierra foothills, Sacramento Valley, forests, and vernal pool wetlands.
We specialize in designing year-round field trips featuring seasonal wildflowers, mountain meadows, vernal pools, and mushrooms.
Our outings include hiking treks, as well as drive-by wildflower tours.

Please join our chapter! Contact Martin at (530) 474-1732.
